Mobile Internet Advertising Is The Future

A recent whitepaper from Juniper Research shows that the future of mobile advertising is in mobile internet advertising.

Mobile internet advertising is expected to dominate all other forms of mobile advertising by the year 2014. Other channels of note in the future are personal messaging (person-to-person SMS for advertising) and idle-screen advertising.

As mobile platforms continue to grow, mobile advertising is sure to continue is upward growth trend. Apple’s iAds is just one of the ways that mobile ads will be tailored to help the needs of both the business and the consumer.

The great thing about mobile advertising is that if done correctly, it greatly increases the chances of word-of-mouth advertising. The right mobile ads are sure to be shared and discussed over mobile platforms. Mobile advertising if definitely an area to stay up-to-date on! Thanks for the post!

      Thanks Adam!

Although I haven’t seen any studies on it yet, I suspect word of mouth works so well with mobile because the devices is a communicator and people often use them when sitting with friends. It’s only natural then that people use their mobiles to share.

What ever it is still has to be compelling!
