Tags: passion, purpose
By posting “my deepest purpose” for people to read I had a few ask questions of it, such as “why?”. It’s great how when you make something public it can only be enhanced. As such, my purpose has been revised and improved to sit even closer to what I’m about.
So here is the revised version:
- Creating something that other people find value and enjoyment in
I’d love to hear about other people’s purposes.
I’ve been thinking a bit lately about what it is that I want out of life. What am I doing?
Well I always find myself coming back to:
- Helping other people find their passion and helping them pursue it.
I just get so passionate about it.
“what is the purpose of life? how can I best use my God given talents to improve the world? how will my personal life blend with my business life if I start my own company?” – Adam Mcfarland
Just recently I made the decision that yes, I was going to start my own company. I’m now moving part-time at my day job, I’ve got a few business partners, I’ve got the company registered, there is a working website (www.donttell.com.au – shameless plug =D) etc etc etc.
And you know what, at this moment in my life I can say my purpose is to create a company, a company that makes a difference in peoples lives. A company people talk about. A company people remember.
“I’m starting my own company” just feels right.
